Mercedes Benz contracted Southern Cross Projects for the fit out of a sophisticated retail space centred around a custom designed, manufactured, and installed boutique that presented a new line of products and merchandise. Southern Cross Projects spearheaded the project, designing, manufacturing, and installing custom joinery, custom cabinetry, black glasskote, a custom designed & manufactured bulkhead, and integrated lighting, to bring together a space dedicated to promoting merchandise within the Mercedes Benz dealership. Upon completion, the dealership possessed both an engaging and interactive space that further enhanced the sleek and professional Mercedes Benz aesthetic.

Scope Of Work
Bespoke Joinery
Bespoke joinery was designed and manufactured by our team to comply with the sleek Mercedes Benz aesthetic. All joinery projects were made using the finest timber as well as cutting edge techniques to produce something high class and visually remarkable.
Bespoke Cabinetry
This retail shop fitting promised visual appeal over function to create a resounding space for clients. Bespoke cabinetry was designed, crafted, and installed as a built-in to create minimal clutter and maintain the sleek, streamlined interior.
Glasskote (Back-painted Glass)
Our team created a custom glasstoke that painted the glass black for a sleek and secluded interior, in line with the requests of the Mercedes team. The glass was coloured, shaped, and fitted by our multi-disciplinary team.
Electrical & Mechanical
The first and second fix was conducted by our expert team, installing all the electrical components required for the specific scope of electrical work. Our team also handles all the installation of the finalised designer lighting per the requirements of the client.
Designer Bulkhead
Our team installed custom built designer bulkheads to house professional lighting. The bulkhead tied into the overall modern aesthetic by providing a contrast of clean white to the dark elements such as the Glasskote, cabinetry, and furniture.
